The National Government issued Decree 593 on April 24 due to the health emergency caused by Covid -19.
That said, people who had planned to move and have not been able to do so, have force majeure exceptions established by the authorities and contemplated in the following cases:
1. Due to cases of force majeure or fortuitous event, an unforeseen situation.
2. When a buyer must move to his new property due to delivery of a house or apartment.
3. When you must live with your loved ones to care for them.
4. When there are no alternatives that guarantee decent housing.
5. When the rental contract for homes or business premises has ended.
6. When the activity of the commercial premises is suspended and there is a loss for the merchants.
7. If you reached an agreement with the landlord to deliver the property you have leased in advance.
At the time of moving you must have the documents that support your exception:
1. If you live on a lease, the contract is terminated and you are going to lease, you must attach the termination contract, the new lease contract, the certificate of delivery of the property by the real estate agent and the enlarged photocopy of the identity card of the person who appears on the the contracts.
2. If you have purchased a property, you must attach the contract or promise of purchase/sale, proof of ownership with a certificate of freedom and tradition or some document that proves ownership and an enlarged photocopy of the identity card.
3. If you are going to take care of an older adult relative or the older adult or the older adult comes to where you must attach photocopies of the identity cards, a document that proves your relationship with the older adult and a receipt or lease contract for where be directed.
4. If the house where you are located is not suitable for your health or your family, prove it with a document or video.
5. If you live or go to a complex or condominium, permission from the condominium or complex administration to facilitate the entry or withdrawal of the moving staff.
